So article 13 has passed today in the EU.

I wonder if we'll be able to skip out on this after brexit before too much damage is done.

I wonder how many US/external sites will pull services from the EU like they did after gdpr came in to effect.

Out of curipsity if the admins are on what software will fabs be introducing to scan images uploaded for compliance? Or will fabs be sending all user images to a 3rd party for checking? And will that be opt in?

Oh don't expect that to happen. The "porn ban" is proof enough of that. Trying to control and censor to suit their own agendas.

Article 13 simply means that sites like Youtube won't be able to use your content without paying you. It means people can't steal your ideas and make money from it.

It's a good thing. People who hate it are basically thieves
