If this is a help to any members out there who suffer from Diabetes two.. It can be reversed, I was diagnosed with it and lost four stone, cut out sugar altogether, no longer a diabetic. |

I also heard about going on a strict diest consisting of liquids for about a month, but I don't know how true that is. From what I've heard though it doesn't work for all types of diabetes. |

It's not that strict yes first 5/6 mouths then balanced diet coupled with gentle to moderate exercise 3 to 4 times a week. |

That's really good.
I was going that way I think for a while.
I didn't have a good routine.
I quit shugar and started training.
Type 2 depression and anxiety shouldn't be "accepted" because it's all reversible.
I think lifestyle changes solve 99% of the problem but society is becoming extreamly ignorant and "accepting"....of a problem that spirals into many different areas...
I was on the verge of being diabetic with a ridiculous diet and work routine.
People should know depression/anxiety/type 2/obeisity....it's all caused by bad routines...
The first step is removal of shugar from diet and 40 minute walk every day.
(Obviously that's just the first step from the couch) |

Only Type II - they did some kind of reality TV experiment with it, but it was just a way to cause an immediate and dramatic change in body chemistry, there are other ways to do the same. |

Haven't heard of that one. As long as it works though, surprised that nobody really talks about this stuff. |

I've just googled it - there is a Lancet paper and a long term study in progress on 800 cal diets. |

800 calories, damn. I feel like that could be quite dangerous if someone jumped into that out of the blue. Would at the very least require some SERIOUS will power! |

"800 calories is to little, I ate up to 1800 calories a day, I cut out sugar in tea, ate loads of veg and chicken, grapes, the lot. You have to cut out biscuits cakes and crisps, and cola etc, drink loads of water and cut down on carbs. Remember you are what you eat. Eat to live, not live to eat. If I can do it anyone can as I love everything lol. "
