Nice and easy one,

A ring that used to be my grandma's. It doesn't have any great monetary value but I would be devastated if I lost it.

When my grandparents got married in 1939 they could only afford a very thin wedding ring, it resembled a curtain ring. My grandad bought it for my grandma as a 25th anniversary gift as he wanted her to have a "proper" wedding ring.

I've worn it continually since she passed away. Even when I was too fat to get it on my finger I used to wear it on a chain around my neck. My mum wears her original wedding ring.

I’m not really materialistic either, I do have some diaries I kept when the kids were first born, day by day of their lives. But in reality those are for them, for me that stuffs etched in my memory anyway.

I don't think I have anything I feel that way about. My books probably, or photo albums. Even then the books are replaceable and my photos are all backed up.

Have you tried blackstone fortress?

I’m pleasantly surprised at how good it is! Plus there’s loads of models for the price of it

My 2 dogs are not possessions, but I couldn't get through my life without them. I drive 250 miles on a Friday and the welcome I get from them and the love for the next 40 hours before I drive the 250 miles back to London takes away so much stress.

What if it’s a posseson you made yourself from scratch. Unique item never replicated something with meaning

I have 4 medals which I am very proud of so it would have to be them. I also have a personalised sentimental watch which is a very close second but compared to the medals it is second.

It's still just "things". My dog died last week, that had meaning, and an ongoing sadness too.

People they matter to me.

For one or two I would walk through fire.

Things, even "unique" things, they're just inanimate baubles....

Oh, actual physical possession....

....without doubt the tacky silver St. Christopher my little girl got for me to protect me when I'm on my work travels. I'm not remotely religious but it's engraved and I can't not wear it, even though it makes me look like a knob from the '80's. It's like she's there with me when she's not

(I've actually had fabbers tell me it puts them off because they don't like guys who wear jewellery lololol, I didn't fucking choose it but I'll always wear it!)
