Im not constantly checking myself out or doing make up hair etc,, but for the past week i've taken a lot of pictures of myself and thought to myself 'im quite pretty actually'
Never thought it before and always brushed off compliments when men pay me them.. but now i might just say thank you.
Are you a vain person? |

No i'm not vain in the slightest, hate getting pics taken (unless for here, where head is chopped off, and 95% will be rejected by myslef). I very rarely wear make-up unless i'm out socializing, or a meet even then its very little. |

.... but thanks for reminding me of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain", wonderful song.
Not a bad album cover either, it has it's points. "

There is a difference between honesty and vanity...sometimes people remind me of the girls in primary school who used to be self deprecating about their work so their mates would tell them how good it was, |

That's how I see it!
I'm going to be honest and admit that I'm vain to a certain extent. I put make-up on and ensure my hair is styled before I go out anywhere (except on holidays lol).
I won't look in the mirror again for the rest of the day..... unlike a girl I used to work with who constantly got a her vanity mirror out (checking EVERY angle of her face) and applied make-up where she 'saw' flaws and actually smiled at herself when she was 'satisfied' she looked beautiful.... the frequency was around 4-6 times an hour (no exaggeration)
.....she made me realise my vanity levels are low to normal |

I make sure I am presentable before I step out of the house.
I usually look myself in the mirror when I am washing my hands while in the ladies.
I don't go around seeking out mirrors and check myself out.

I hate looking at myself in a mirror and especially
hate sitting having them bloody huge mirrors in front of me when having hair cut. I am tho very fond of the mirror wardrobe doors when I stay at Jets |

Not vain, but i easily could be the amount of compliments im getting now. But i know i look good (in comaprison to what i looked like before) so im always appreciative of compliments. The best are always from my son as hes not a man of many words and he told me i looked stunning on his birthday |

in terms of looking in mirrors and checking myself out, no
in terms of keeping myself clean, wearing clothes that fit me / suit my build, keeping myself neat and tidy down below etc then yes
so whilst i'm not self obsessed, i do my best to tend to what genetics bestowed on me |

Whilst I don't carry a hand mirror with me or constantly reapply make up once its on, I do look in mirrors when they are in front of me, either in the loos, or at various places around chams etc, ill look in them, fluff up my hair etc.
In the car before I get out I check my face in the mirror too.
It would be a lie to say that I'm not vain when I have so many pics of myself |

I just know I am so handsome - especially in a kilt - that all the ladies fall at my feet to worship me.
I learnt to laugh at my opinion of myself a long time ago and never take anything I say seriously

Hm not sure. I do take pride in my appearance and I have the confidence in knowing I'm considered beautiful. I still wouldn't like to think I'm vain though. I don't constantly check myself out but I may reapply lipgloss while out but I'm no hairflicker.I hate having my pic taken and am usually the one behind the camera... |

I wouldn't say am vain although I do have a few pictures on profile. I am not a particular fan of my own photographs however I don't mind the body shots as much. I would certainly never look at my own pictures and think "Oh am pretty". Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't run myself down but I don't big myself up either. I am who I am, people are either attracted to me or not...quite simple really.
I do like to look nice and will make a effort with how I look. But on the same hand I will also go on cam first thing in the morning with bed head and no make up.

I wouldn't say i'm vain. I rarely wear make up and absolutely hate pictures been taken of me. I'm as self critical as the next person. But I'm not totally unaware of myself. I know when I look good just as much as I know when I look bad. I know which bits to accentuate and which bits to hide and I know when I go out that I'm looking foxy. You can be aware of your own looks and sexuality without being vain. |

i found my full length mirror in the cellar of an office we were moving out of
walked past it and then stopped and had another look
thought 'hmmm you look much slimmer in that stevie boy'
so it was promptly repatriated to my hallway where it was titivated and hangs to this day
it works wonders
i've only seen one other like it but funnily enough that was on a funfair |
