I think all Women are beautiful in their own way. You just got to see them for who they are and not judge them by how they look. I'm a 'less attractive' guy so I expect the same in return. |

I think everyone has someone that thinks they are attractive... Pretty is not necessarily what makes someone that tho... I am told I am attractive but I am not particularly pretty, I don't think. |

"Yep, we still exist but make up does wonders these days. "
Doesn't it just! I wear full makeup everyday and even I thought to myself at work when I went to loo, god you don't look too bad for your age do you? |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I'm definitely less attractive than other women to some people and more attractive than other women to other people.
Minimal make up and I don't really care that I look like a bag of spanners.

What do you mean? If all girls are naturally pretty then that would imply that the naturally less attractive girls have been killed off or something? |

Perhaps the girls that survived the killing off are happy they survived which makes them look prettier? I’m having Looper thoughts. |

We are all less attractive than someone as there are some stunning people in the world. That goes for men too so all but 2 people in existence are less attractive than another people, I guessing there are billions of us. |

It's like Bill Bailey's Chris de Burgh song Beautiful Ladies.
We've solved Op. Chris de Burgh killed the less attractive women as part of his new world order. |

You see this is where women have the upper hand.
For example let's say a woman is errrrr a bit rough.
Hair, plenty of slap, nice clothes hey presto, biff, baff bloof, alakazam.
Beautiful.
Me
Wake up looking like shit
Wash face comb beard look in mirror, still rough as fuck.
Yikes
Fuck all I can do about this mess.

But on the other hand if we don't do all of that work, people think we look like shit when we're just... not all dolled up. |

Yes, less attractive people exist. It's folly to think that everyone is beautiful or pretty when the evidence of our own eyes in any high street tells us that some people have an unfortunate countenance. |

A thousand years ago when I was still at school there were girls that no one dated, and any boy that even chatted to them would be ostracised by their mates. I rarely meet any females that I would consider unattractive and wondered why my perception has changed. |

Eye of the beholder.
I will refer you to Roald Dahl...
A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.” |

that’s brilliant , and true if your smiling the world smiles back at you and everyone looks more attractive if they don’t look miserable |

I take the view that beauty is not in the eye of the beholder but largely shaped by the culture of our immediate society and the culture of the broader society. (of course not everyone follows society's influence).
As someone said above back in the day some people felt constrained only to talk to certain girls at school. It was always amusing when a girl deemed plain suddenly turned up the next term looking in the deemed attractive category and the mad scramble of some to get to know her.
Broadly in Europe and Northern America white women who are slim with regular facial feautures (and good hair) have been seen as the ideal. Although now widened to include other races that fit that pattern. E.g page 3, Victoria Secret and Sports Illustrated models.
Thankfully the old stereotype is being challenged and it is recognised all shapes and features are attractive, and we should accept and be attracted to people for who they are.
However you still have those that cling to the prejudice and we all know the two famous clubs that only admit clientele and especially female clientele on their looks and those looks conforming to the attractiveness stereotype.
At the end of the day it is and should be each to their own and who a person finds attractive is no one else's business.
The only issue as I see it is where people are rude and are confused by stating that being conventially attractive and or only going out with conventually attractive people is a matter of being of a higher standard and or having higher standards than people who are not conventionally attractive or who do not have conventially attractive partners.

Although all the pretty girls are of cause gorgeous, but why are the other girls not , each girl is different and special in there own way .
My self prefer the different ones , with tattoos and piercings too , punk make up too , not everyone’s cuppa tea, but certainly mine |

you're saying then that women with tattoos, piercings and punk make up aren't pretty. Personally I think many people are attractive, not just the conventionally good looking ones. It is undeniable that some people are not attractive physically to most people. That chap who won £71million last week was a realist. when asked if he had become more attractive he replied "I haven't but my wallet has".
Of course we grow to love how people look once we know them but if we're talking about initial attraction not everyone has been equally blessed. |
