Does anybody here use car pool sites, I'm looking at them at the moment as I would like to go to see some family 200 miles away and public transport is not running in my favour.
I did use one once which worked very well for me, basically people advertise a journey they are taking, either as a one-off or regular journey and you pay a proportion for your seat.
They have verifications and recommendations so you can see who has given many lifts and is rated highly and therefore most likely to be safe.
You can also see who else would be on the journey with you and potentially contact them in advance to see if they have travelled before with this particular driver.
Can you recommend a site for me to look at? |
