Anyone who uses facebook haveing the same thing happen as us.. We keep getting friends suggested who we have seen profiles of off this and another site..
We have never used the same e-mail address for any... in fact facebooks is unique..
We don't accept the suggestions as we don't tend to cross over the two sides of life.. but even looking at their friends.. theres no connection anywhere..
Do the Bots know more than we think lol... Its not even people we have ever spoken to on the sites rather than just seen.. Scary!!!   |

friends suggestions are usually when its more than 1 of ya mates who are friends with them.
So facebook makes that link.
Which would make sense if you have been looking at ya mates mates on certain sites..so you would recognise them. |

I rarely go on facebook but ive had friends invites from strangers sent to our msn address which is only used for swinging and very rarely given out either out as I hardly use it.........I just delete them  |

We alsways used a completely seperate address for facebook.. so stuff never crosses as such.. but seems somehow it has done lol... Busy trying to work out who on the friends could even possibly know some of these 'suggestions' lol... |

This happens to me too and I've always used a different email address for Facebook than for any sort of contact with people from this site...I really don't know how it happens! |

Spent half the day going through friends friends.. and not one has any connection with the suggested friends...
The suggested friends even have someone we spoke to by phone a year or more ago lol... we never even e-mailed each other?? Spooooky lol..... |

Hello you two (it's Darkfire ) I've had this too, and posted about it elsewhere....my facebook is, like yours, completely exclusive to my 'vanilla' life - no one from my swinging life knows that address - but still people I know pop up on 'friend suggestions' on occasion
- baffled me for weeks, went through all sorts of theories and questions about discretion etc but came to the conclusion that there really is some truth in the '6 degrees of separation' thing and the only way people I know from my swinging life are popping up in my vanilla life is because its my 'vanilla' friends are somehow linked to them and Facebook itself is making the connection!
happy hunting down of which vanilla friends are not really vanilla at all! |

This normally happens if you ask facebook to go through your email (and hence your MSN contacts if using hotmail etc.) to find friends you want to add.
Facebook then store all the email addresses and use them to generate "suggested friends" (although they don't tell you they'll do this).

That is quite scary.
I would not even have my hubby on my face book, as he had some swinging mates on his – and I did not want the link to my vanilla world.

happened on Gordie's bebo a while ago. we got chatting to a girl who took a 'shine' to him and must have spent ages googling and bebo searching for him.
she didnt have his mobile number but managed to find him through the football team he supports and needless to say his inbox was full!!
