Fried egg sandwich, houmous with carrots and things to dip in or just bits of cheese and olives.
Back in the day it would have been a couple of bowls of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes |

I never cook when I'm on my own, I literally do not care enough to plan ahead and get things in for tea. I wait until I feel the first pangs of hunger then go to the kitchen to forage (my spirit animal is probably a raccoon, but not Burt Raccoon as he has a weird nose). It might be peanut butter and banana on toast, it might be cereal, or a crisp sandwich. If I'm lucky there will be something nice leftover from when my children were at home which I can re-heat.
I always cook lovely things when my children are here so every other week I get proper meals. |

Toast. If it's fresh bread then a huge chunk toasted with loads of butter! Marmite, with peanut butter or cheese, nutella and peanut butter, banana and brown sugar! Yum!

Hi. Have you considered buying and using a slow cooker?
Before work, chuck in sausages, beef or lamb chunks, this in some pre cut veg, add a packet of colmans seasoning mix and finally turn your slow cooker on low.
Soft tender and moist meal awaits you upon returning home from work |

I love cooking so when I CBA or I’m short on time I will defrost something that I’ve frozen after batch cooking. Last weekend I cooked a chilli, a lasagne and a chicken & leek pie, most of which has been portioned out and frozen.
If I’m disorganised then it’s a takeaway. |

If I’m really not cooking then it’s cheese and crackers.
If I can’t be arsed to do much then it’s jacket sweet potato covered in Philadelphia and sweet chilli.
Or an omelette. Plain. Lots of salt and pepper.

"Cheese on toast with salad cream or a fish finger buttie are my go to. It's got to be cheap(ish) white bread too.
Who has fish fingers on brown bread?" *waves* |

If I don't plan for the week I rarely can be arsed to cook as I usually get in quite late.
So sandwiches or cheese on toast or crumpets are my go to foods.

"Fish finger sandwiches with tomato sauce... heaven "
I really want this - but by the time I've gone out to buy the ingredients and cooked it - I might as well get takeaway fish - no chips though - fish shop fish goes with beans and cheesy coleslaw |

Chop up whatever veg is in the fridge, dump in a big roasting tin with lots of olive oil, herbs, chilli flakes and salt and in the oven for an hour. Serve with any protein (especially delicious with poached eggs)
Best part is that you have lots of time to work up an appetite while it's cooking |

Ramen.....it’s the way forward.
Not really cooking as such as you do is put some noodle in stock and add a bit of sliced meat and chopped veg on top.....oh and a boiled egg which I always have in my fridge anyways |
