A smallholding somewhere semi-remote like the Welsh Marches or Wensleydale.

I love Escape to The Chateau and DIY.

Would love to move to Spain and do something similar but on a smaller scale. It did inspire me to upcycle a lot of things and attempt projects I wouldn't have considered before...with varying degrees of success

Capital of the English Marches, perhaps, but it's more better over the border

I’ve got something pretty small you can hold...

It can be in Wales or Yorkshire. I’m not fussy

When the kids are all adults, buy a bed and breakfast by the coast or in the countryside, this is a very far off dream but it’s our end goal.

The two on that show give me the creeps.

Saying that, if i were to move into somewhere like that, id hate to have to rent it out for weddings and run it as a b&b and do everything on the cheap.

I like the thought of a bnb by the coast until I realise Im not that keen on people and cooking breakfast so just a house by the coast will do

Yes, continental breakfast. Like you I'm not keen on people I would also have to say something to parents of badly behaved children, people with poor table manners, anyone who chewed with their mouth open and people who wore their slippers down to breakfast. I hate making beds and cleaning too.

I think its just as well we settled for the house by the sea for just the two of us and both like porridge
