Only thing I'd say is just make sure the trainers are suitable for you for running

This

Go for it OP, I know from friends how this can be a big issue for you but don’t let it be. It’d about you wanting to do what you want to do how you want to do it. Go run!

Just do whatever you want, it's no business of anybody else what you wear. And most normal people are too busy with their own lives to give a monkeys.

I used to do a lot of running several years ago (about given it up now but that's another story) and I've been out as a woman, as a man, as somewhere in between, with boobs, without boobs, with wig, without wig, women's leggings and top, men's leggings and top, with bra, without bra, touch of make up (waterproof mascara just about survives, and max factor lipfinity)...

If it works for you then go for it. Good luck with the run, wish I could get myself out running! Can’t wait for the project I’m working on to be over so I can start again!!

Not if you're competing, that's called cheating.

Do what makes you happy.

However, be aware that womens trainers are designed differently and they won't be the right support for you.

To be honest I'm not sure I'd notice what you were wearing. Sports wear tends to look very similar. Do it!
