face pic's the double standards
Jump to: Newest in thread
lots if not all female and cpls profiles ask for a face pic on the 1st message or expect you to have one on your profile, in public gallery. Most but not all do not have a face pic on their public galleries,so we are expected to risk our face been shared on the internet, or elsewhere whilst you keep yours hidden, major double standards, in our view surely its better to make sure you all after the same thing before sharing too much. For the record we have a face pic on our public gallery, its also on our Facebook profiles so we take no risk showing it as everyone we know has already seen it, personal i would advise we all put up a face pic from our passport or driving licence so everyone has a safe clear face pic on disply but thats just us. I never ask for a face pic.
I have face pics on my friend gallery, and I don't add people as friends unless I've met them. Saves me worrying about people from strictly vanilla life seeing me.
I'm not that interested in what people look like really.... Personality and compatibility far more important and can usually be assessed via chat |

You know that you don’t *have* to send anyone a face pic, right?
My profile asks for one. I sometimes (mostly) have face pics public. Currently, I don’t.
I’m not forcing anyone to send me a face pic. You don’t have to read my profile and do as your told |

Our face pics are on show and we would expect others who we speak to on fab to have one or least send it in a message when asked. It's always nice to see who you're talking to and to see if there is an attraction.

We have a couple on our public profile. Probably why we get lots of views but few messages. They’ve already seen us and thought “nope”...saves time if nothing else |

We don't have any face pics on our profile and will never send one through here either.
We also do not expect anyone to send us a face pic to be interested.
This for us is very private and would never want friends, family, or work colleagues to know that we swing!
I know your talking about double standards here but the truth is we will never send a face pic so if someone does not like that they can move on. Its about respecting other peoples rules and not judging.
We have tried to prove we are genuine in others ways like photos verifying ourselves holding the paper with our name and website |

no your not forcing anyone but with so many men and a lot less women every man will read your profile and know if he is to stand any chance at all of even starting a conversation he will have to send a face pic , with the massive amount of messages women get if a message has no pic attached it very likely to be deleted unread, |

Most women don’t get loads of messages if they use their filters appropriately
And yes, their chances are better if they have a face pic attached to their message. Because funnily enough, I’m attracted to faces. If I’m looking to meet someone it’s all fine and dandy liking their personality but if I don’t find them attractive I won’t be fucking them. It’s as simple as that. I like knowing who I am chatting too. |

It's not double standards at all.
If I message you first without a face photo and ask you to send them one that is double standards!
You say it's best to chat first and see if you're both after the same thing but let's be honest if you're not physically attracted to the person then that's all just a waste of time. |

I have quite tight filters but I still get between 50 and 100 messages a day.
If I put up a photo or an update that can double.
The only way of reducing the messages is to block single males but if that's what you're looking for then it's pointless. |

I always ask for face pic because face for me says what kind of person you are. Straight away it says if you can sort of trust this person, if they are not drinking too much and if they take care of their appearance. I never put my face pic publicly but if they send me face pic I will send one in return. There is always some guys with 100 of dick pics but cannot send one normal face pic and sends you one with sunglasses or half hidden face so trust is out of window. |

When I send mail out I attach a face photo. When someone contacts me first I expect them to do the same.
I am not about to start posting my Facebook photo or ID photos on my fabswingers profile. Some like to keep our swinging life private. |

If I messaged first I would attach a face pic, so they can decide whether to send one back, or say no thank you, or delete and block.
I like men to do that too, so we don't waste time talking.
Very few men want to see a face pic without asking to meet, I've found, so it doesn't seem to be a requirement for them. |

There and to the left a bit |
Not really sure what point you're trying to make here OP - if someone expects a face pic that's their prerogative, just as it's your prerogative whether to send one or not, I don't think it's double standards though, you have the choice and if you don't agree with how that person chooses to run their profile, then you have the choice to bypass it, just as you would if there were anything else about their preferences or boundaries you didn't agree with.
A word of warning on your comment about having a pic both on here and Facebook though - you do know that could lead people from here to your Facebook page, and from there, if they were of a mind to do so, to potentially being able to contact your friends and family who may or may not know about your life here - if you're fine with that then it's your choice of course. |
