So got some duphenuase to go with my steak and also a nice fenal bulb.

Interested on how folks cook it?

Im thinking fried amd then topped with some basil parsley and olive oil maybe a bit of balsamic glaze.

But its been ages since i have done anything with fennel might be an excuse to break out rhe blow torch

Plymouth and Newcastle (sometimes)

Not really a fan of it as a vegetable but we do like to put a few sprigs of the feathery fronds on our roast potatoes.

It can be quite tough. I like to grate it into a green salad with slivers of a firm pear.

Dont have a fore man or a griddle pan. Would it be wtong to cook it in tbe skillet then blow torch the oven raxk to sear on some pretty lines :p

bit late this time but the fennel is really nice sliced and cooked as part of the dauphinoise.

Sounds a tasty meal. I love fennel cut in 4 and roasted

I went with axilied and pan fried amd topped with parsely basil olive and garlic dresssing and a balsamic glaze
