Im 5ft8 I've been turned down a few time because of my hight. Think taller men are deffineatly more attractive to women but can't do anything about it so why worry  I don't struggle maybe if I was shorter again might be different |

OP 5'9" isn't short it's average height.
I'm only 5'5" and yes it does put some people off but it's more about confidence personality and charisma you can be over 6' but if you don't possess any of those your not going to get anywhere. |

For me yes. Height is one of the first things I look at. That’s because I’m tall though I personally don’t like being taller than a man. A lot don’t bother about it though but for me it would put me off yes.  |

Depends on the person, preferably I prefer a man taller than me, but being 5 10, which means taller than most men who put 5 10 on their profile.
If someone was what I was looking for then perhaps I would consider someone shorter. |

Well I’m only 5’1 so if doughnut was shorter than me, I think we would look weird together (no jokes!), I do like a taller man and I would say he is the perfect height, not awkward to hold hands with and I don’t have to get on tiptoes to kiss him.
