If I’m honest I rarely meet as I have a very low esteem and opinion of myself.
Even though I’m a reasonably successful person, my inner self is not confident as much as I used to be, that maybe due to cancer I don’t know!!
If you were being honest about yourself what would you say? |

My confidence was growing, I've lost alot of weight gone back to a line of work I love... Then made the mistake of trusting a bloke. Declares he loves me, then ghosted. So right now I'm a mess. Back to baggy black clothes and avoiding everyone in the real world. |

Im very honest if asked. I'm quiet though, so don't often put forward my opinion without an invitation. Being honest is my default setting due to having aspergers and it doesn't always go down well. |

So if I'm honest, it may take me quite a long time to feel comfortable enough with someone to meet, which could be perceived as me being uninterested. I'm going at my own pace though, and that suits me fine. |

I like to use humour to deal with everything I come across. It's a defence mechanism though to cover my self doubt and feelings of inadequacy. If I were smarter I would stop comparing my life to the lives of those around me and just live the one I've got. My good points are that I'm kind and honest |

'Honesty and truthfulness are not the same thing. Being honest means not telling lies. Being truthful means actively making known all the full truth of a matter. Lawyers must be honest, but they do not have to be truthful'... Yeah I work in a law firm! Lotsa people claim honesty. It is the truth we are after though. |

To believe I'm worth more than I give myself credit for, you can't please everyone no matter how hard you try and I need to put myself first every once in a while.
It's a work in progress sort of thing. |

Pretty much the same as you op , but my lack of confidence came after a heart attack . Now and again I forget about it and feel back to my old self , but these are just moments rather than hours . Maybe I’ll never feel the same again , I don’t know . |

Sometimes we have this nagging doubt that people are just being kind and have pity for us, so meet or re meet us.
I would guess we are all human and our level of confidence goes up and down, the confident image people portray on here is, at times different to how they feel x |
