I do at the weekends. Spend enough of my week peering at screens. Like to lay the paper out on the kitchen counter and peruse at my leisure while sipping coffee.

Still read books too

How many times have you dropped a book in the bath and had to dry it with a hairdryer?

In my case once was more than enough, it was a library book so I had to buy it

But yes, my kindle and tablet swipe/scroll fine through the plastic.

London

I still buy the paper every day and also love to read it while drinking a nice cup of coffee.

I normally look at the sports section first and make my way backwards!

I often pick up a free metro and Evening Standard every day also and read them too.

I recycle all my newspapers once a week.

No the daily star inferior to I just don't have the time go through the internet ones and pick out the least fake on or click bate full of ads so I stick to a newspaper and BBC news.

Newspaper's will die out eventually and books will become a niche interest, irrelevant to the majority. Times and technology change and all the antiquated stuff gets left behind in the end, just a matter of time.

Only ever buy them if I go to a pub in the daytime on my own. saying that it's been a while since I have bought one.

My parents still read them and they are in their 80's. I think it's just the coffin dodgers and white van drivers that keep newspapers in production.

I did spy what I thought was the Sunday Sport on sale the other day. I thought that paper had been scraped a long time ago.

"So ALL online new resources are inferior to the Daily Star?"

Yes in a way they are.

For brexit profiles were built up about what news you click on, then the leave campaign sent adverts and fake news stories to people based on what news they click online. Some would only see nhs stuff, sick waiting people, others would see adverts about immigrants taking their job and nothing about nhs.

If you got your news from paper/tv they wouldn't have been able to do this to you.

I still buy a daily paper, Monday to Saturday. I don't on Sundays unless, there is a unique special item or offer.

I don't use online versions of Papers, just simply because I won't go fully techie and have everything compressed into a screen sized viewing option.
