A woman was impressed the other day cause I used the word ‘risqué’ in a message, not on here I may add. Now, I’m thinking if she’s impressed with that how bad are the messages she’s getting from other men, the bar must be set pretty low?!
Has the art of seduction gone out the window, now that we spread ourselves to thinly and have got lazy because of modern technology.
Why put the effort in, when you can copy and paste.
So how low is the bar for messages ?
(I could word this better, but I couldn’t be arsed) |

I dunno man you choose to introduce yourself with a close up of your junk in a thong. You tell us |

In general, I believe women are much better at seducing someone. Either that or men are easier to seduce. I don’t think it is a dying art. I just don’t think there are many Fabbers who bother going to those lengths when fancy a fuck will do. |

It's all relative I guess. Gone are the days of hand written missives scented with perfume, where they would wax lyrical about the enigma of their smile. It's more about what they can fit in without having to spend 10p on another message.
Is the bar lower now? Probably yes, but then effort doesn't always reap rewards

I can honestly say that in the whole time we have been on fab , we have never tried to seduce anyone with a message .
The closest we would get to that would be attaching our full body and face pics to a message that invites someone to meet us . And if we meet them then the seduction starts . Never in messages . |

I get some pretty good messages I have to say. But I want seducing or to seduce in person really. Eye contact and touch and suchlike, I am in full seduction mode currently, Spring must be kicking in |

Some people put in a bit of effort with their messages but sadly not all.
It is more common for the scatter gun approach of 'fancy a fuck' which they hope is the ultimate leg opener..they seem to assume that every lady on here is desperate to shag anything that offers with a pulse.Happy with our preferences...always...desperate we are not. |

"No the art of seduction is not dead, but seduction I believe is more for a partner rather than a meet except if you are regular."
I agree with this.
I don’t think anyone has tried to seduce me, that conjures up a slightly more romantic notion in my head.
On here for me it’s more about the banter, flirting, fun & interesting conversations, see if that sparks a connection and take it from there. |

Dead & gone but hopefully not forgotten!
My messages are actually fucking dire!
How r u, in your area, fancy a meet, In hotel now!
What are you men actually thinking when you send these, when it goes completely against what 'I' fucking want and looking for?
You don't really give a shit what I want, do you? |

No.
Some care for it, others don't; there's more than one way to seduce a woman. Maybe that's changed?
I don't think risqué is that advanced of a word that a lot of folk wouldn't use it given the right context. |

Can you seduce someone through written words? I’ve never been seduced by any written message. I’ve never even been turned on by a message unless it’s someone I’ve met already and/or I’m massively attracted to them and they’re good at writing filth.
Take note men, those first messages where they describe what they want to do in great detail, lay me on the bed and lick my pussy or fuck me till I’m screaming, it’s bull shit and just gets deleted. The only time I’d scream in my bedroom is if they tipped something on my iSense splendour carpet cos it was £27 a metre and cost a fortune to me. |

Oh I don’t know, my first meet from fab (who is still one of my best friends) opened with comparisons of a picture of mine to Hardy’s description of Tess of the d'Urbervilles. The art of seduction (or plagiarism of Thomas Hardy) was impressive with that one. |

"Can you seduce someone through written words?
I can be. Totally and utterly. "
You could be cos you’re wordy, you’ve taught me words I’ve had to google.
But for me to be properly seduced or for me to do any seducing it would have to be in person. |

I associate seduction with romance so wouldnt expect it on here. If i was on a dating site looking to date it might be different. There is one guy that turns me on with his words but he doesnt know it as ive never told him |

I struggle to communicate simply though. It’s actually a hindrance, and I’m constantly trying to make my points in a cleaner/pithier/nutshell way. My brain shortfuses and I get anxious when I can’t - so written communication often gives me the time to distill my points better (unless I’m empassioned in a forum discussion!)
Anyhoooo, I digress... |

Are we talking fab or real life. On here I aim for flirtation and fun.
In real life I have written poetry for a partners birthday to go alongside a gift. Do you have any idea how to squeeze the word mojito into a 16 line verse? |

Impressed? I'd be impressed you knew such a fancy word as well to be fair to her.
Yes, I can be. Seduced doesn't have romantic connotations for me, it's more of a carnal thing. People can be erudite and witty in messages and that's fucking sexy. Mental masturbation is great. |

I still need it on here. Nobody is getting in my pants without a bit of mind fucking. Seduction all the way. |

Words can touch the heart inspire raise images in the darkness of the mind, maybe even sustain people when they are apart.
Yet that smile, the gentle touch of fingers brushing hair away from a face, the softness of a spoken word whispered dream the look in the eyes of another, that tingle of almost touching skin brush of lips on a cheek a knowing smile... all those connections that the real world allows...perhaps that's where seduction meets the mind and heart... |

There and to the left a bit |
I think seduction of sorts on here is still key, but it's a different kind of seduction than elsewhere - more about establishing a connection and chemistry than wooing someone with words and charm - there are of course cross-overs between the two that get you to the point of agreeing to meet and then it's about seeing if that connection and chemistry exist in person (if you have a social), and I guess to an extent seduction comes into it then with flirting and teasing etc but again it's a different kind of seduction by the nature of the site.
Then when you have got to the point of agreeing to get naked together seduction goes out the window and something more carnal kicks in. |

"I don’t think I am good enough with words to seduce anyone in the virtual world. I’ve tried but fail miserably." Either that or the rest of the package fails to have the desired effect despite the words.
