I don't have any regrets. Most of the things I've done or haven't done have been as a result of decisions made taking circumstances at the time in to account and my personality. Some are wrong in hindsight but that's life.

Looking back both of us would have liked to move to Spain years ago but again that's hindsight for you and if we *really* wanted to we would do it now.

Getting married and all the crap I've ever eaten.

Most recently leaving the job I loved for more money somewhere else

However regrets are pointless . You need to move forward and try to find positives

If I hadn't gone through with the wedding I wouldn't have my amazing sons.

Not staying on at Uni after my HND to top up to degree- it would have meant I could switch careers and stay higher up the pay scale. Not for me really, but now for my child. But I was young, and couldn't see the bigger picture.

I wish I was stronger when I split from my ex husband in terms of having the kids, I understand the reasons they stayed with him as it kept them in their routines as two of them are autistic and he was the stay at home parent but I wish I fought to have them and stay in the house but I can’t live by that, it would just eat me up too much, they are happy enough where they are which is the most important thing but yeah, that’s my one big regret.

Life is really too short to be having regrets, but, if I had to pick something, then it would be not grabbing the chance to trek through the Himalayas when I was a strapping young chap. I was offe_ed the opportunity to spend 6 months there hiking through the region, for no other reason than just for the he’ll of it. I decided not to go and spent some time in the French/Swiss Alps instead. Broke my back a few years later so huge trekking adventures are not an option now
