Let's have a big up for bi guys for a change. Is there nothing more refreshing than someone being honest about their sexuality on here, when they know it may hinder their chances in meeting some women on here. It's like they are saying here I am, this is what I am, accept it or fuck off, there's something very sexy about that. |

I’m very happy to have bisexual on my profile as it deters those who would not be compatible with me. Even though I haven’t had sexual contact with a man for 9 years I prefer my sexuality to be accepted than something I need to hide. I have enough of that in real life. |

Quite happily and openly bisexual here - I don't buy the "might hinder my chances" thing at all - sure some people won't want to meet me because of my sexuality, but that's no different than some people not wanting to meet me because of my age, or the fact I'm fairly average looking, or have greying hair or any number of other things - I am what I am, and there are still people that do want to meet me.
I always find it better to focus on those people than worry about those that rule me out |

"I can understand why they hide in the real world but on here I can't, A lot of people show pictures and talk about things they wouldn't in the real world so why not be who you are on here"
In a lot of cases it's because they foolishly believe it will stand them a better chance of meeting people on here without realising the vast majority either are actively seeking them or aren't bothered either way |

I do get that and I understand that view point. However, on here where labels mean so much, surely being direct and honest about who you are and what you're looking for will help you to meet others.
Personally I won't entertain meeting a guy who doesn't state that they're bi on their profile as that doesn't speak privacy, that says duplicity to me. |

That's a good example of how we're all different.
You do make a good point. If we want acceptance for who we are, it helps to put it all on a plate. My business is my business though, I'm not being duplicitous unless I'm lying to those I intend on meeting.

Everyone is different if you live in a big city you can live fairly anonymously but if you live in a village and something you want to keep private gets out it can affect your whole life |

Thanks and it should be totally about who you are sexually. Imo still far more acceptable to be a bi woman than a man. Being a bi guy still has a stigma attached, promiscuous, diseased etc. But these are no more so an issue to bi guys than a straight swinger. I love who I am ( greedy) but society still judges and isn't overly tolerant |

It never bothered us when we were looking for bi guys if their profile said they were straight, as I understood why they might say that. I just used the advanced search and looked for men who wanted to meet men. |

But, in our experience guys who say they are straight on your profile and say they're bi in messages are generally either
1.,people who are not comfortable with their sexuality or
2. Pretending to be bi to get at a woman in a bi couple.
We're not interested in either of these categories.
