That's impressive I used to have a goal of 1000m in 5 minutes in my teens, no way I could do that now probably, haven't rowed in years! |

Is it? Sometimes you wonder what is normal, there never seems to be any staff around when I need them at my gym. Someone said to see how long it takes to burn off 100 calories so I might try that next time. |

Didn’t realise you were so sensitive, I take it back, in no way is this thread classic humble bragging. (It totally is, Google humble bragging) . |

I agree with you on that point, getting out and doing anything is what's important.

Exactly. The fact I just ate a pack of Wispa bites does not negate the walking it took to get them. My heart and body was exercised. |

I can only run as fast as my boobs allow.. not fast or far at all.
I do however really want to get fitter and loose a lot of weight. I need to get back to the gym and on the bike and rowing machines again.
I also need someone to slap food out of my hands |

To lose 1lb in weight which is about 3000 calories you would have to row for at least 8 hrs wtf |

I would say it mostly depends on your metabolism, you make it sound scarier than it is
And if you break it down, you can lose 1 lb every month just by having a 300 calorie deficit a day |

Yeah, stripped 4kg of fat after not hitting the gym for over 4 months, firstly for crippling sciatica then kidney stones.
Now clean bulking (around 3500 calories a day) and smashing the gym. Cardio is currently a little limited as it genuinely bores the piss out of me. I throw rounds of skipping into my daily workouts, and occasional tabata rowing machine and bike to work. I'm a fair weather cardio kind of guy, waiting for it to warm up a bit. |

Been doing well since January till I got viral bronchitis that turned to pneumonia and left my asthma in bits, then I’d recovered from that 3 weeks ago and pretty much gone straight for my operation last Friday so what I could do and can for a few weeks is now limited |
