Ours didn’t go up as much as we expected.
However, the local council have just introduced a £40 per year charge for garden waste despite promising this would not happen in their election manifesto! Not surprising that uptake has been very low at around 25% of households and most people are now just bunging it in their regular bin. |

Don't be silly. A married couple have to pay full wack. It's only if you are single that you you get a discount. |

Two adults working have one council tax bill to pay (full wack) ,if they share the bills then each of them are paying 50% of the full council tax bill ...get my drift |

Yeah much more rises and I'm packing it all in for the dole I'm on good money but being single only me to pay the bills so if everything else goes up I'm out not working to just pay bills had council round 4 times last year because don't believe I live alone in such a big house |

Yes, get your drift. That's not how your post read though to me. The reality is, if you are single, as i am, you only get a 25% reduction.
If there are 6 people living in your house and you split the bills, it's even better.................but the council is still only giving you a 25% single reduction. |
