A lot of threads are attention seeking, but some in not such an obvious way. Some threads are an attempt by people to make their attributes and tendencies known.
I tend to judge on their individual merits and treat accordingly, but I don't generally go in for the 'shooting down in flames' thing. There's enough people on here to do that.

I think photo choice is more about seeking attention.
I could put a pic of my socks and talk about anal sex and be ignored.
Another woman could have a pic of her naked, post about cheese, and be inundated with replies. |

The best attention seeking ones have got to be the "I'm leaving fab..." ones - I've never really understood why anyone leaving a room where no one is paying attention to them would feel the need to tell everyone they're going

Most of us seek attention in different ways! For instance - I don’t (in my opinion though of course some may disagree) often post to gain attention in the forums - I just post on threads that interest, amuse or rile me - I post pics hoping they’ll make hot photos as it’s a form of direct marketing imo - most of my meets come as a result of being seen on hot photos!
When I feel others are being OTT in the self absorbed/attention seeking department I’ll sometimes say so - and I’m aware that some others disapprove/disagree with this!
I don’t see the forums as a place purely for lighthearted flirtation (to flirt/meet other forumites) as some some do though - I see it as a community where we evolve in our time/relationships on here and give a warts and all account of ourselves - for good and bad! Very few on here are ‘all good’ or ‘all bad’ - but some of us reveal more of ourselves than others - which is both good and bad I think!

I don’t think I post on anything to particularly ‘get noticed’ I do as we all do (well as I assumed) and is kill some time in the world of socialising and debate. Either by posting a topic that pops in my head (if nobody posted we’d have nowt to discuss) or joining in on other topics.
Nobody should dictate what others can and can’t talk about in their posted topic
