I’m a massive fan, I always get emotional at the documentaries about Freddie, even when I heard what Elton John said about him and the fact that Freddie on his deathbed bought a present just for Elton, my fave song is too much love will kill you.... if you can watch the original video to it |

I'm not a 'fan', but enjoy the music when I hear it. I really enjoyed the movie, Freddie's actor was so freakishly accurate with his portrayal of his stagecraft and mannerisms. |

What makes me really happy & really sad at the same time is George Michael at the Freddie Tribute Concert
Oh my word, he was amazing
I especially the Days of our Lives cover with Lisa Stansfield (she's a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine)
George & Freddie, both so, so talented and both taken before their time |

Great movie for a band that had such a great impact upon the way we see music these days. Freddie was a great loss. The best front there ever was and indeed will be |

Actually thought the film painted Freddie in a bad light as selfish and a diva. Remember this film greenlighted by Taylor and May who are made out to be quite saintly all the way through the story.
In fact Taylor in the film criticises Freddie on breaking up the band by signing on to do a solo album, in real life it's Taylor, who did the first solo album, not doing any favours to his deceased band mate there was he ?
The parties, his gay lifestyle and drug use all portray him as weak and easily led and the ultimate insult, having him beg to be back in the group. In reality they were nothing without the charismatic front man, who was the real reason Queen ever achieved anything, May and Taylor got lucky the day they met Freddie not the other way round.
No issues with John Deacon as he wasn't involved in the film, as you can tell, as his part in the success of the band is certainly not brought to the story at all.
RIP Freddie xx

What did Elton say about him?
I'll look for the video later. |

Elton put in his autobiography something about how they had names for each other and Elton didn’t know but Freddie on his deathbed bought Elton a present, this is a while ago that I read this, but the present came after freddie’s Death, and Eton said something along the lines of even in his pain he was thinking of others |

I didn't see the film that way at all. They didn't make him beg, they were just pissing about. Like family.
I think they got the film just right. They could have made too much of the parties and tainted his memory. I thought there was just enough. |

And to think he was getting weaker everyday when these are the days of our lives came out but the man kept working till the very end even recorded verses for when his time was up I think if he could give us his heart he would have and he seems to be a very nice man and his band mates are doing him proud letting his music live on has anyone been lucky enough to go to any of their concerts forever Queen "we are the champions my friend and we will keep on fighting till the end" |

I like everything he / they did and when he died I was so sad .
Later in my life I realised that it wasn’t so sad as he lived his life the way he wanted to do , and he had no regrets .
Live fast , die young , and that he certainly did , I only wish he didn’t suffer the way he did with such a destructive disease . |

I always liked Queen, the film Bohemian Rhapsody was excellent. Okay it had a few plot holes and inaccuracies (poetic license) but it captured the essence.
I was listening to the "Made in Heaven" album again recently and there are two songs on that which I have grown to really like - "My Life has been Saved" and "Let me Live" |

Massive queen fan, loved the film however, knowing what I know about their history it was far too edited, could have easily made 3 seperate films. Much more too the story of Freddie and queen that was shown in the film. |

I went for a job interview and was asked how well I could do under pressure.
I said that I wasn't familiar with that one but would have a go at Bohemian Rhapsody.

And that is the way he wanted it to be like he knew his time was near but he didn't let it get him down he carried on working and get as much of his work out as he can and basically gave his blessing for his band mates to carry on his legacy just makes me want to cry but happy tears |

"Days of Our Lives is such a haunting song. Freddie at the end of his life looking back and reviewing it all. So beautiful and as it turned out so poignant. " |

It changes, depends on my mood. Break Free when I'm swamped under with work, March of the Black Queen when I'm driving, Days of our lives anytime. So many great songs. |

I love Queen and really enjoyed the film. My dad was a big queen fan so grew up with their music. My son's now listen too. They actually also enjoyed the film |

Big queen fan, thought the film was crap. It glossed over his personal life, and they tried focus on the music.
They wrote off his solo stuff as nothing more than a d*unken gay orgy. They made out like he was an innocent passenger as the person who got him to do solo stuff was the cause of his aids and him being a d*unk and his career falling apart and freddie was just a victim in all of this. Even though I know some solo stuff is very good.
I thought the acting was average. |
