What idiot leaves £300,000 on a bus? And why did they have that much cash on them?
I'd be worried about who would be looking for me to get their money back. |

Why are they using the bus? |

It could have been a little old mans life savings who doesn't trust banks , maybe he was taking it to his eldest grandchildren to share out between them to get them started in life.
I'd hand it in or I'd be haunted by scenarios like above forever. |

If he handed it in? I'd take £50 out and give it to him, if he took it, it take £50 for myself and hand the rest into the Police.
Finders fee.
If I found it, it'd be a whole other story

"Theres CCTV on a lot of our buses, so you might not get away with keeping it.
They should also know who left it"
I would assume they would goto the bus garage and ask if it had been handed in; giving the bus number and time they were on it |

I do too scared to take it to be honest with cctv everywhere and then the serial numbers, i’d be caught within a day I reckon, so i’d probably pussy out and hand it into the police. As nice as it would be nice to have it all.

Hand it in, do a good deed for a change and feel the gratification. This world needs pleasant decet beings, research “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. The Law of Attraction, albeit you could argue that this was “the universe” giving you the cash lol |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
"I'd hand it in...cctv's everywhere! "
Don't believe the myth - remember the jogger who pushed a woman under a bus in London?
They only had an image of him from the bus CCTV - no footage from either end of the bridge. |

My mum found 3,000 in a purse on a supermarket shelf, she handed it in left her details, never got a thank you note!
A friend years ago, found I forget how much but it was around 1,000 in a carrier bag in a supermarket car park. he was a trolly boy, this was when I was 19 ish... he also handed it in, never received a thank you
Moral of the story... Run for the hills with the dosh.... But then again I might hand it in... who knows until you are in that situation... |

Bus CCTV seems to work quite well on Claimed and Shamed |

"I found £200 on the street once and handed it in to the local cop shop, so yes, I'd have handed in £300K too."
Why didn't you buy a cop from the cop shop with the cash? |

"If you han it in, do you get to find out who it belonged to when the owner is found? I really would want to know. If not, then fuck it I'm keeping it. "
I think if you hand in cash, the rozzers set a time limit for it to be claimed - about 6 weeks I think - and if it's not claimed in that time, the 'finder' can claim it instead. |

Cleaning up n down the gangway with my bin bag in tow.
Bend down find £300,000 on the floor.
Leave money where it is carry on cleaning the bus.
Swing round with my brush accidentally knocking out the cctv
Walk back up gangway cleaning backs of seats etc
Pick up the money whilst down behind the seat and pop it in my bin bag.
Carry on cleaning seats etc until I leave the bus.
Carry bin bag off the bus and put it in my trolley as usual.
Take bin bag over to bin.
Lean over biffa bin to empty the bin bags.
Re appear with very appealing amazingly large but crinkly boobs.
Walk slowly to get my coat.
Drive home with my chin on my tits and a huge smile.

Yes I would, conscience for one thing. Plus I’m a great believer that a persons luck evens out over any given period of time, and I wouldn’t want £300k of bad luck! |

I would hand it in to the Police, yes.
I try to put myself in the shoes of the person who has lost it in the first place. What would I like someone who found it to do.
I guess it all comes back to Karma again |

would hand in. It could be laundered cash. Or if it's been gotten through Ill gains and the person doesn't claim it then you get it back eventually.
I found £50 in a cash point. I handed that in and I got a call to say it hadn't been claimed. What goes around comes around |

"Oh God .... Give it in...I couldn't sleep worrying about the person who'd lost it"
If it was legit there would most likely be some publicity about the person who lost it.
In that case I'd hand it in...probably.
If it was ill gotten gains they wouldn't be shouting about it tho...so I'd keep it....definitely. |
