Sweep overs. WHY ?

Jump to: Newest in thread

I’ve seen a blinder today, it was done with precision, but still obvious. A bloke with a pristine sweep over, acting like he had a full head of hair, but fooling no one. Why do men do it ? You see a bald bloke you don’t take any notice, see a bloke with a sweep over and you have to tell everyone within ear shot.

So I’m just wondering if there are any blokes on the forums who have a sweep over and if you do, what’s your thinking behind it ?

I don't think I've seen a sweep over for a long time.

Where did you see this man?

The only person I know with a comb over is my dad, he is in his 70's though. It seems to be something the older generation go for rather than younger men.

We all take the piss out of him but he sticks with it. As the years go by it's getting more difficult for him to artfully arrange his hair to cover the bald patch so he may have to give in soon

Have a bit of a bald spot going on but don't do any sweep over. Usually have my hair cut short and spikey.

Thinking of going for a mohawk haircut.

They can't see it, what with that fringe in their eyes and all.

I had long hair, but when I noticed I was starting to recede, out came the clippers!

Maybe you've answered your own question.. They like to stand out in a crowd!!
