No, because I hide, or put all blocks in place when my profile is blank. It's blank when I'm not looking for anyone new, so no point allowing people to message me. |

Someone told me he signed in female with no pics or profile text and he got more messages in a day than he could get in a month, when signed in male with pics. |

I was so overwhelmed by all I nearly deleted my account there and then. |

I think the biggest Factor is that in my immediately local area there's not that many active single women, you only have to look at the local updates there's never anything from single women. So I think the second a new woman comes along she gets jumped on |

I have a very healthy friends list and a good amount of ladies chatting, who in time may make it on to my friends list.
The harder you try, the harder it is. Just be positive in the forums and eventually someone will message out of the blue. It is a pleasant surprise when it does.
