I don't really have a sweet tooth but he other week I did make some lovely nectarines in a pan, added some honey, softened them up and a little charred, then flambed with rum.. served with some fresh vanilla ice cream |

Apparently the name spotted dick was named as King Richard had lots of black heads and his chef put a layer of warm pastry on his face and when taken off it pulled the black heads out!!!
So I guess spotted dick is off the menu now lol |
