"How tidy is your sock drawer? I'm just tackling mine. It badly needs it.
So far I've found Shergar and Lord Lucan.

Super tidy!
The ‘odd sock basket’ however......awful. I really need to go through it, there’s so many pairs. But I won’t. I’ll just go to it daily and take two socks that are the same size and that’ll do... |

I get cold sweats if all the socks are mismatched, I’ve got a whole drawer full of mismatched ones waiting to find their twins, I go through it occasionally and throw ones away that have been there a while though, mine you I also have to have matching because I think something bad might happen and they can’t be inside out either!

Oh gawd, I don't really have one. I have lots of odd socks but not many pairs. I don't know how.
The drawer that contains said odd socks also has random items in it such as bras with underwire missing, and a card that means the world to me.

"How long do you keep the odd socks before you give up hope of ever finding their other halves?
I know if I bin this lot their twins will miraculously reappear next week."
That's the beauty of socks. they don't have to match. Even if they don't match they can still be in a pair. That's beautiful. |

Soooo untidy, I don't think I've worn an actual pair for ages.
A friend of mine has the neatest sock drawer ever. She folds them into each other so they end up flat...its very impressive! |

Poor odd socks, being left out just because they are different from the rest. |

I do wear odd socks sometimes or make an "almost pair" of similar ones, but my daughter tells me off.
What are your thoughts in holey socks? |

Only to be worn on a Sunday |

My sock drawer is kind of tidy. The shop bought socks I try to pair up but don't bother with too much and I don't wear them often.
These days I mostly wear my hand knitted socks. They are stored very carefully and really well looked after. When you've paid anything up to £20 for the wool to knit a pair and spent a month doing so you really look after them |

Depends on how big the hole is but they tend to be good for a second pair when it's colder. |

My sock drawer scares me
Why are there so many?
Why are they all lone ones where are their friends?
Why have I got thousands of unopened packets of tights and mismatched hold ups?
It's a minefield!
I might just throw them all in the bin and start again! |

I learned to knit socks because my mum has MS and her feet and ankles swell quite a lot. Commercially made socks really hurt her so I knit her socks instead.
The whole family want them now so there is a waiting list. When I knit socks for other people the wool I buy costs about a fiver but if they are for me I buy the posh stuff - artisan, hand dyed yarn that costs 15-20 quid. |

Chatting with a friend recently (hi gorgeous xxx) and he was venting about how important it is to have an organsed sock drawer - colours/style etc.... I didn't play with his head and tell him I dont even have a sock drawer. I am the jedi warrior of socks. I let the force guide me and hope I find a sort of pair. Works for me lol. |

My approach to sorting socks and meets is the same: make sure everyone is in the same place and with the same intention, otherwise back in the dry laundry pile.
Last time I looked in my sock drawer I did find a garmin device and three sets of swim trunks. No socks |

I've found gloves, a phone and a random bar of soap so far. |

The discovery is always disappointing though, I need socks.
I wonder if there was some way to make sock sorting a power thing between a dom and a sub... |

There and to the left a bit |
I tend to buy the same style of socks so pairing them is easy - they just get rolled into a balled pair when they are dried after being washed so my sock draw is mostly tidy although there are a couple of random strays where I've thrown a sock out because it has a hole in it. |

I only wear hand knitted socks too, anyone would think we’re twins!
Btw, the hand dyed that you gave me for Christmas is knitting up lovely |

This may be the way forward but I do love my stripes socks |

I have special system for my socks and pants and It is thus.
I stuff everything in the same top draw so that the draw can't be shut.
I'm too lazy to pair everything up. |

Wear odd socks, problem solved. And if anyone comments just say they aren't odd, you have another pair just like it at home!
I feel odd wearing matching ones. |

I started buying patterned socks so they are easily paired up.
I currently have no socks in my undies drawer though, so I need to dig through the laundry basket to wash some.
