It’s worse when your local pub does it and it looks like a round for a stag night!!

I think probably this but it's nice anyway. I now have a spare almond croissant. Anyone want to share and people watch. No sex required? ..

It is good business, creates a sense of loyalty so the customer can't go elsewhere with out feelings of shame and guilt, and as a bonus gets rid of that croissant that got dropped on the floor so can't be sold

Lol, I’ve done work in a bakers and a cafe and I would nearly always get the regulars their stuff as soon as I saw them cross the road if I wasn’t busy! But only the ones I could have banter with and never the stuck up Stacey’s of the world!

Danish x

Maybe that's it. The staff are young guys and girls, and I know they are constantly trying to figure out what I do.

"..when your regular coffee stop has your order ready before you even reach the counter, and they throw in a free croissant?"

That has happened to me. But for me, I didn't know I used my local cab office so much until I called them from the courtesy phone in Sainsbury's, not my own phone, and after only saying hello, they said is that so and so? That road? Yes, and yes!

I'd stop going in if I were you.

My sandwich shop started getting my order ready before I had ordered it.

Haven't been back since.
