It is good business, creates a sense of loyalty so the customer can't go elsewhere with out feelings of shame and guilt, and as a bonus gets rid of that croissant that got dropped on the floor so can't be sold |

Lol, I’ve done work in a bakers and a cafe and I would nearly always get the regulars their stuff as soon as I saw them cross the road if I wasn’t busy! But only the ones I could have banter with and never the stuck up Stacey’s of the world!

That has happened to me. But for me, I didn't know I used my local cab office so much until I called them from the courtesy phone in Sainsbury's, not my own phone, and after only saying hello, they said is that so and so? That road? Yes, and yes! |

Every morning I get a costa before work, now the garage staff are so familiar they chinwag, miss me when i dont show up... Its almost like pub of old days.. Great.. Connecting with people |
