"I've lived all my life in a big city. But have recently moved to the Countryside and its heaven. "
Best of both worlds now for me. in the middle of the countryside but 45 mins on the train to London |

Yep - we're in a good spot. I can leave my village and be in the centre London in under an hour. |

Country, but not waaaaay out in the sticks! Where I live I'm pretty close to the hills and the town, so a great mix..well for me anyway! I've never even considered city living, its bad enough working/commuting in there.
But each to their own! |

Fingers crossed, I'll be moving 6 or 7 miles closer to the countryside in the next few months
The offer's in & accepted, solicitors appointed, surveys booked, mortgage agreed in principle ...
So much can still go wrong, but my dream of stepping out of my front door and being in the hills in 10 minutes is just that little bit closer
The city has tired me and I of it |

Both (but I’m greedy) which is why I love the area around Newcastle so much. 10 minutes in the car and I can go from city centre to the countryside or the beach. I’m looking to move a little further out of the city centre soon, so I can have the countryside on my doorstep for walks etc. |

City all the way, prefer the convenience that they have, shops, Cinema and restaurants. No concerns about WiFi coverage or transport links. The countryside is lovely for the weekend (naughty or nice) but nice to be back |

I thought I was a city dweller, but the Countryside and where I'm staying is stunning, 900 feet above sea level and right in the hills, I wake up to duck's, two Canadian geese have landed recently, alpacos, it's another world, and at night I can actually see millions of stars in the sky, not in Bristol I can't lol. |

I live in the fringes of London and love what it has to offer, country life close by and city just as close. I also have a property in a NE Scotland village which I just spent 4 weeks working on and apart from shops being 17 miles away, I l love a sitting on the step and listening to the owl hooting away, the stars being bright and not disturbed by light pollution. Sadly, my family are townies so no chance of making a permanent move to Scotland |

"Are you a City person or a Country person. Given the choice where would you live, Town or Countryside."
I’m a town person who seems to have found himself out in the country somehow
.
I wouldn’t change it but I’m still not entirely sure how it happened!

I used to live in the country but now live on the edge of town right next to the coast...as in only a few yards from the sea. I wouldn't change it fir anything! |

Seems like we all love the Countryside, And we all seem to love the peace and tranquility it brings us. I came up to Bristol yesterday, and the traffic was awful and it seemed so busy, people rushing about, I hated it, and couldn't wait to get back to the Countryside. Yet I've lived in Bristol Forty years. It's only now I know where I am happy, not Bristol. |

Town. Countryside is great for visiting but I'd be lost without convenience on my doorstep.
Thankfully being in the midlands we have plenty of countryside only a short drive away. |

When I first thought about moving I thought it was a question of good internet or bad as it turns out towns have bad internet to but generally I was right lol |

I absolutely adore glamping, hiking and just being in the countryside. It's the best place to just free yourself and not worry about a thing. But I do enjoy the hustle and bustle of city life, especially at night. I need my fix of culture, be it in music, art galleries or anything of that ilk. |
