I've just gotten back home from a celebration .... I'm d*unk and having a load of mixed emotions..... So happy to see how big my family has gotten in 25-30 years ... Starting from 4.. to a whopping 60!.....
And I've had a sad truth... I've not contributed to that number and probably never will.... Had family asking what happened to the girlfriend I was seeing last year.... The silent treatment as usual I told them, never found out why.
It's kind of put a downer on the night ... Its just playing on my mind .... |

Sorry to hear about these mixed emotions.
I'm sure there are lots of positives!
I always thought by the time I was hitting 40 I'd have a family of my own and a half decent job, seems it went west somewhat.
This said, I am happier now than I have been for months and whilst regular gainful employment currently evades me, I have an improving health picture and I truly love some voluntary work that I do. |

Meditation has not helped as insomnia in my case is a sub conscience choice. So my brain sees it as a normal function. I choose to not sleep even if i do t want to...complicated but easier to accept than fight it |

Meditation has not helped as insomnia in my case is a sub conscience choice. So my brain sees it as a normal function. I choose to not sleep even if i do t want to...complicated but easier to accept than fight it"
