For the clueless men reading, this is no exaggeration.
I know most women are probably rolling their eyes right about now - but for me, this was a shock
I deleted the profile, and found myself in a state of mild depression...
From experience, most men with good profiles and actual pictures would be lucky to receive a single reply back on this site
How did I not know about this? How did I not know things were this extreme? I can only imagine what it would have been like with actual pictures
Anyway...
I recovered from my mild depression, accepted reality, and took this is an experience to be learned from
I now understand why women say messages like "Hi. How are you?" won't get their attention. No fucking wonder - I would ignore them too if I had 100+ messages in my mailbox
I also have a greater amount of appreciation for attractive women that reply to every single message (in a kind manner). Hats off to you
Of course, the attention may well have died down after a while ( I can only assume )
Anyway...

When a woman first joins you’ll get the usual desperate folk who will message any female profile in the hope of a reply....the amount of ‘your pictures are amazing’ ‘you’re the most beautiful woman on fab’ messages I got when I had no filters, no profile text and no photos was unreal. Once you’ve added filters, updated your profile and added photos etc it can die down. | |||

I find it ironic that you get some men desperate to get a veri and when a woman joins, the men are desperate to pop that fab cherry, thinking they can reach them, before they get site savvy  | |||

Do all the other things you suggested around message style, decent profile etc - add in the right attitude and expectations and it won't guarantee a thing, but you'll be on the right track  | |||
