I'm not usually jealous of the younger generation with having to go to school whilst being on social media, but damn i am jealous that you can be 14 and know what angles or how to take a good photo of yourself.
I'm approaching 30 and struggle to ever take a decent one!  |

I was about to start a thread about selfies and not from that point of view.
Young people are killing themselves because their selfies don't get enough likes!
Every tube and bus journey I take now has people (some not so young) putting on an automatic pout as they take a slew of selfies, tilting their heads this way and that and flicking their hair. On crowded tubes! Male and female. |

Yeah the vast amounts of pressure they receive is crazy, kids not going into school because someone posted something horrible on a schoolmates instagram or whatever. I think you have to look at both sides, Young kids having confidence in themselves is a great thing, but the reliance on it is whats killing.
I feel the same way about makeup, having the option and skills to give you confidence is awesome, the reliance on it though i feel is detrimental! |

I don't understand it at all. People taking multiple pics of themselves every day, then posting them. Addicted to 'Likes'.
Mad thing is they all look the same as they all do the same poses.
