So what attracted you...

It varies - often a wink. What about an exclamation mark at the end of a username? Does that incite interest?
Anything that may arouse curiosity or other interest, whether a photos, an avatar, a post. Generally though it will be a search that I've done, with specified characteristics set, so that the (un)?lucky ones who may match are then in my sight. A good avatar then helps, as it will position someone in a contrasting style to others. |

I look through local newsfeed and it depends what catches my eye - sometimes the status, sometimes a new picture has been posted. In the forums if someone has made a comment that makes me laugh I’ll have a nose too |

If it’s someone who uses the forums it’s either an interesting or funny post or an attractive avatar.
If it’s elsewhere on the site, it’s a hot avatar or a disgusting or abusive message so I can block them usually |
