toilet seat, leave it up or down ??

we know women always go on about us men not putting the toilet seat down when we have finished.

but it works both ways ladies!!!

a compromise would be that when you are finished, chances are a man will be next so ...leave it up for us !!!

and then when you get the idea of doing that, we may then consider putting it down for you !!!!

I always put the lid back down after use as it stops the cats drinking the water at the bottom of the bowl.

I always put it down after use, and always wash my hands too, unlike many others that use public toilets that i have witnessed, and before anyone says it no i don't have a habbit of hanging around public toilets.

I always have seat down and lid closed. Feng suie (can't spell) says to keep toilet covered as stops money flowing out the house and to always keep bathroom door shut if its near the kitchen but can't remember why. I think it does anyway.......may be a dream i had......

A friend of mine used a public loo and was about to leave when a man said to him "where I'm from it's polite to wash your hands when you've been to toilet". To which my friend replied "where I'm from it's polite not to piss on them in the first place".

I always put the seat and lid down as it looks nicer. Doesn't take two seconds to lift it and two seconds to put it down when I'm finished.

The idea of a toilet seat and lid is to be closed prior to flushing as to help prevent bacterial airbourn spores. Do people ever do it? Do they F! before you ask yes I do sometimes
