Why is the London Forum so Bad?

Something that I have often questioned on this! For a city of 8.5m people, it is crazy to think rarely anyone communicates on the London Forum.

Who here living in London? Let's start something

Londoners don't speak to each other. It's always silence and no eye contact.

You can spot the foreigners a mile away.

"Londoners don't speak to each other. It's always silence and no eye contact.

They stare at you on the tube, trying to instigate a conversation.

We're very sociable beings and prefer to chat to everyone in the Lounge.

I’m a Londoner and in general London is quite unfriendly in some respects

If you dare smile at someone on the tube they think you’re weird.

But I’m a nice friendly guy

London is like the dentist. You have to end up having to visit at least once a year, and it's usually horrible.

I'd rather go to the dentist...

Maybe people in and around London don't see themselves in a regional context, for whatever reason.

I've been to Liverpool and no fucker spoke to me.

I get smiled at and spoken to on the tube now and then.

Maybe I have an approachable aura around me

I'd definately be classed as a weirdo in London as I'm 1 of them that will smile and say good morning.

It's the same with the cam room. Always less than about 20 people in there...very strange.

Last time I actually went to London you’d think that I’d told most to our right fuck off just by saying hello

Us friendly northerners may as well be an alien species to Londoners

Just there could be great potential here for those living in London. I guess there is quite a big party scene but it seems to be very selective.

There are moments on the tube when something happens or you catch someone checking you out (or vice versa) and you do have that moment where you're both blushing.

If you're in London city it's unlikely you'll be bumping shoulders with many actual Londoners. Maybe during rush hour as they go to work, but who is happy travelling into London for work.
