It's not compulsory any more. you only have to pay the licence if you watch "live" TV (not on catch-up), except for the BBC i-player. The more people that realise this, and stop paying - I wonder how much fans of BBC programmes will pay before they think it's no longer worth it? Personally, I love the bi-monthly Patagonian Nose Flute hour on Radio 4 is worth every penny |

You tube...panodrama.....john sweeny slaging loads ppl off ,spending £300 on espences..at lunch....thats 2 people's 150 a yr gone on lunch..? Jimmy savil..staurt hall ..rolf harris..and we the public paid them yearly to do it....but there ok a....lol... |

I don't own a TV at the moment, but can watch iPlayer anytime I like and listen to the radio all the time. I never miss Patagonian Nose Flute Hour.
Much better value than Sky.
