I'm going for Wales, maybe bias but there's a lot of reasons for it. Home ground, coach's last tournament and the players love him. Wales are playing well, their ability to change a match at half time is legendary. It's probably being seen as 'the final' too. |

Tough one to call and will decide this year’s Six Nations.
If England handle the pressure then I expect us to win; but historically we struggle in Cardiff where the crowd are like an extra player. I’m really looking forward to it.

"Who cares about winning

Are you the Italian coach?

Right, I have a problem. If Wales win, I get a damn good shag tonight. If England win and I crow about it, I’m on the sofa.
Fuck it. I’ll get the duvet down now! |

Wales National Anthem Translated...
This land of my fathers is dear to me
Land of poets and singers, and people of stature
Her brave warriors, fine patriots
Shed their blood for freedom
Chorus:
Land! Land! I am true to my land!
As long as the sea serves as a wall for this pure, dear land
May the language endure for ever.
Old land of the mountains, paradise of the poets,
Every valley, every cliff a beauty guards;
Through love of my country, enchanting voices will be
Her streams and rivers to me.
Chorus
Though the enemy have trampled my country underfoot,
The old language of the Welsh knows no retreat,
The spirit is not hindered by the treacherous hand
Nor silenced the sweet harp of my land.
Chorus
The land of my fathers is dear unto me,
Old land where the minstrels are honoured and free;
Its warring defenders so gallant and brave,
For freedom their life's blood they gave.
Home, home, true am I to home,
While seas secure the land so pure,
O may the old language endure.

"England. Should win.
It will be the hardest game till we get to the final in Japan.
Japan are in the six nations? Seven nations? "
Just the continuation of the England winning streak. |

My heart says England but my head says that it's going to be too close to call.
Wales have only played well in patches but still ground out the wins, plus they are always up for playing England (every nation always wants to 'just beat england')
England will definitely have done their homework and will have a game plan but it's all about who blinks first |

I’m a rugby fan and although English and an England supporter, I call it as I see it.
I see England winning and winning convincingly. Dare I say with a bonus point.
Wales play the counter attack game and I think their opportunities will be limited if they play that way.
England will give away their usual endless amount of penalties but I don’t think that will be enough for a Wales win.
One thing we can all be sure of, is it’s going to be the game of the tournament. |

I think our back three will deal with the English kicking game better than France or Ireland but I wouldn't bet against one try from it.
England will know that and probably look to use Tuilagi more before kicking.
We need to be several levels above what we have been to win this one but it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that it all comes together today.
If England win then it's a Grand Slam for them and if we win then I think we have a good chance of one

"Who cares about winning
It's the taking part"
Sounds like a desperate fab quote, lol. Many take part technically, but don't show up at the game... Think this is what happened in Ireland's last match.
Taking part didn't offer much, one needs to perform when taking part or it doesn't count for much. Imo. |

Wales 21 England 17.
Wales haven't hit their straps by any stretch of the imagination, they haven't found their rhythm yet unlike England so it'll have been difficult for England to predict and counter their game plan. They also will have had 2 weeks to put it together. England have been absolutely purring during big wins over Ireland and France.
We know Wales can respond and change a game plan to neutralise the opponents to win as the clearly showed in last match.
2 years ago they were unfortunately not to beat England with that nail biting s*rangle hold over England going into extra time only to loose by a mistake made in the last seconds.
It'll be brutal and very physical but with a lot of skill. The atmosphere of 65,000 fans with a closed roof will be hard to match. We're not just taking part, we're in it with burning lungs till the last whistle, |

Any chance we get Anscombe is destroying. Biggar needs to come on at half time before we go any further behind. Gifting them posession all the time when we look to be in decent positions. Infuriating viewing for us Welsh at the moment |

Their kicking didn’t work out the way they planned, either too long or too short and you can’t kick into space when there isn’t any space |

Well I got that wrong.
Yet again when England’s game plan wasn’t working they failed to change said game plan.
Although Wales were outplayed for most of the game in the last 20 minutes they changed things around and that’s what won them the game.
Well done |

"Not enough taffs on the forums, severely lacking in crowing about our win, wouldn’t hear the end of it if England had won "
Actually that's generally not the case. It's the Celtic Nations that go on about it. Endlessly. Almost as if there's an inferiority complex or a chip in the shoulder...
I'm all for a bit of friendly rivalry, having played the game to a reasonable level, but some of the vitriol leveled at teams is over the top and not in the spirit of the game. I blame the football supporters getting in on the action.
Wales won today because of their better tactical subs. The ref was poor for both sides, but England didn't respond well in the second half. Wales did the better job there.
I'm an England supporter, but have Welsh family, so it's always mixed emotions. I didn't think it was a particularly good game either way.
Anyway, well done Wales. The championship is wide open now. Oh and to bring it around to Fab, you have just about the most perfect breasts I've ever seen, so congrats on that. |

I have to say I was extremely impressed with the Welsh performance - reminiscent of the Welsh team in the 1970’s.
It was always going to be a brutal game and the best team won on the day - the Welsh boys won that game rather than England losing it. |

"Wales bullied England of the Park, far to much aggression, England couldn't handle it, good fucking game though"
The first half worried me - England didn't really need to do anything but put points on the board
I'm not sure we did much more than lift the intensity. Wish I'd been in the stadium as it was a hell of a game.
I wouldn't have argued if Curry had been man of the match though - they need to look after him |

We must have watched a different game - both packs played with huge intensity. England put in twice as many tackles as Wales, won more turn overs and mauls than Wales. Hardly bullying or too much aggression. England gave away 6 penalties more than Wales, Wales won more line outs and scrums than England. Wales had more possession but the game was played more in Welsh territory.
England didn’t adapt their game enough in the second half and Wales did. Wales fought hard for the win and deserved it. But please don’t believe that it was a walk over for Wales or that England didn’t play well. |

What reason have you got that it's broken any forum rules? It's been a good healthy debate and difference of opinions at the beginning and the match conclusions have answered some questions and raises more. No one has been personal in comments or abusive, so I cannot see your reasoning. I'd genuinely like the hear why though. |
