Were you always picked last?

Do you always get overlooked?

Perennially left on the shelf?

Eternally butt hurt at not getting replied to in the forums?

Share your tales of woe here. I can't guarantee sympathy but there might be some vague fawning if you're female

I don't think it happened to me in PE. The playground was definitely brutal though!

I think school sport as I experienced it was actually bad for public health. The only kids given any help or praise were the ones who were going to do it anyway. Everyone else, it was somewhere between yay it's not maths through to torture.

I like discovering how to be the best I can be with my body. The model of "be the best or face derision" creates people who avoid physical activity.

Pfft nice would've been to have got picked...

Actually I was good at sports and played for most school teams, but that's not important right now

At primary school, I was not the last to get picked but way down the pecking order on the sports field due to having to deal with orthopaedic issues as a child. As time went on I got stronger, fitter and better at sport so things improved. However my strong moral upbringing often led me into difficult choices if I wanted to be included in things. Sometime I betrayed my ingested values at the expense of guilt and other times I followed this values and got excluded. It was a bit of a tightrope that I never walked well. I’m never going to be popular, and don’t wish to be. I do ‘my thing’ and if I find a few others that like ‘my thing’ and I like theirs, then that’s cool

I wasn't built for sports so was more than happy being the other end of the queue.

I rather like being a little odd.. I'm my own little team and enjoy the company of others that are similar

Having all the grace and co-ordination of Bambi on Ice, sports was never my bag.

Given that the majority of my peers from school haven't moved more than 10 miles from a failed Northern Industrial town, I'm glad I spent the time reading instead of kicking a football round.

In a way they motivated me to do better for myself.

Oh I'm always overlooked. All the forum hotties never notice me or want me. I just want a forum hottie to send me videos/audios of them wanking and maybe we can have sex every now again.

I might as well hide my profile as I'm so invisible.

I don't want fawning though. I'll just sit in a corner crying a bit and being lonely.

(We didn't ever get to pick teams. Maybe it's an old generation thing)

I was always picked last, up until about 15 as I was really over weight, I lost all my puppy fat over the summer and guess what? All the cool kids wanted to be my friend, thankfully I saw through it.

Geeky x

I'm fairly certain that I saw your name mentioned by a few forum hotties...

Maybe you could teach a thing or two to others...

I was painfully shy and quiet at school. Used to be the last, or almost last, to be picked for PE. Wasn't a fan of PE. I liked javelin and high jump, the non team stuff x

As an army brat, I went to numerous schools, fortunately I was popular at all of them and played many sports and athletics

Exeter, Bristol, Plymouth, Truro

At secondary school I ran for Devon in the 100m, 400m, 800m and last runner in the relay race. There was only one boy in my year that could beat me. Played centre position in the netball and hockey teams.

Loved sports at school great memoirs.

I was in my schools athletics team. Back then we were considered one of the best in South Wales and extremely competative. We were even invited to compete against Millfield, which was an amazing experience.... even though they kicked our arses

Camberley occasionally doncaster

At school, yes.

I was always the outsider (never stayed anywhere too long)

I was always quiet

I was always skinny

Always the smartest kid in the room by a long shot.

Things have changed a bit..

Now I'm like the Peter Pan of that group, all the other guys got fat, bald and old (or a combination of all 3)..

Always got picked last in PE - teachers never used to help either if you were a try hard and good at whatever shit they were peddling that week then they'd fawn all over you. On the other hand, if you were a me not only were you picked last but you were often told to spend your lesson tidying the PE store room.. I wasn't popular when I told the head of PE where to shove her lessons and why. Was threatened with the school Bobby - til I pointed out I was in school, at the place I was supposed to be at just refusing to play as they had no clue how to remedy such treatment of pupils. I was 11 then and didn't do PE much during secondary school. Can still picture the bitch now over 30 years on.

I was always the picker or picked first. I excelled at all sports and almost realised my dream to play for England. I have a box full of newspaper clips about my sporting achievements. I'm still competitive, but body is buggered with too much exercise.
