"Golf Mk II Gti 16V , sold it for a song.
"
I wish I'd known, I love to sing...
My favourite car ever was the MK1 Transit. 34 years old and ran like a dream, there was enough room in the back for drums and speakers... or a double mattress |

I drove my Mk II Gti like the clappers from the showroom to the scrapyard 13 years later!! Fabulous, fabulous car.
Loved my old-style Beetles too, for different reasons. |

"Loved my 1976 yellow Ford Escort Mexico! "
I was going to buy one of those in about 84 off an older work colleague but as I was young, couldn't get insured on it in London, have you seen what they can go for now !!! |

I wish I had owned a car I could be genuinely proud of. Actually, my old Citroen Saxo was good enough.
I would love to see a surge of hot hatches like that come back. |

That’s an easy one to answer as I’ve only owned one car!
She’s a 1.6 mx5 mk2.5 phoenix edition in black with red mohair hood. Cute and fun to drive, I’ve been told she reminds people of driving a go cart |

"80's Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia. Quite nippy but comfy as anything and cruised the motorways lovely. Not the fastest I've had but I loved it in my 20's"
Had one of those too, loved it. Def my favourite. |

I've only ever had 3 cars and a Transit van in ma life. Not one of them was any good, but I've had 26 motorbikes though that I've stripped down to every last nut & bolt and rebuilt them. The best was ma Laverda Jota, closely followed by ma Beckett tuned RD 400, which was quicker round the IOM circuit than ma Z750 |

"Lancia Delta HF Integrale
VW Corrado VR6"
I want a 16v. Corrado so bad, had the lend of one in the late 90s for a weekend from a former boss and I fell in love with that car!
So far my favourite has been a 2005 Ford Ka I had 9 years ago. Never gave me any jip and handled like a go-kart |

Mine was denim blue. Carried out a bare shell reatoration/conversion with the aim of stage rallying it. I didn't though as it was so good when it was finished I couldn't bare the thought of wrapping it around a tree lol. Spent close on, if not over, 5 figures on it |

Dads old Vauxhall VX4/90. Went like the clappers
Dads Ford Classic. Great shape and just a nice car
Austin A40 £50 first car ran into the ground
Granada 2.8 Ghia. Gold colour with brown vinyl roof!
7 Series BMW. Unbelievable equipment level, but the 2nd hand value plummeted so you could pick up a 2 year old one for a song.
Mini1275 gt. great fun.
Citroen 2CV. Totally fun car. Wish we still had it
Porsche Boxster 3.2s. Really good car. Reliable and quick , handled like it was on rails. |

"MX-5 for roof down, pure, simple driving fun, whatever the weather."
People think I’m weird when I drive Phoebe with the hood down in the winter. Whack the heater up to full and she’s lovely and cosy! |

I had a nice E class merc but favourite car ever was a 7 series BMW, racing green, tan leather, TV everything. It was absolutely gorgeous and I had some shnitzer wheels put on it which were sadly vandalised at a train station |
