Why do guys always have to show a face pic first and why do some couples/women get offended if you ask for theirs first.

I've been sent face pics first in the past and don't think I've ever actually asked to be sent one without having sent mine first of my own free will as a courtesy, and even then I make it clear that if they'd rather not send one it's totally fine.

We send face pics first and in no means expect it to be reciprocated in doing so.

We feel it helps ease the people we are chatting to.

I think the owness is on the initial sender to face reveal if the convo is going well.

A random message in my box asking for a face pic probably would just ignored.
