We’re all familiar with how a traumatic event in our past can shape us, and how difficult that can be to work through.
However there are also people we meet that bring good things too, let’s celebrate them here.
My first girlfriend taught me that liking sex was a good thing, not something to be ashamed of. She also showed me that you could try different stuff and if it didn’t work you could both laugh about it.
A Fab friend opened my eyes to the world of clubs and sexual freedom, I can’t believe what I’ve been missing.
To the others I’ve met from here and had a stupid grin on my face for ages afterwards, you’ve taught me that happiness is a good thing and we should have more of it  |

Like... four out of nine people I've slept with. All have helped me realise that I can achieve a healthy, happy sex life. One in particular helped me break through a massive mental barrier (or two) and also introduced me to the marvellous world of fab. |

A certain Lurker on here has helped me like myself again. Taught me how to understand myself better. She's one of the few people who knows me well enough to give me a good bollocking when I'm in the wrong. I don't always listen, but I love her all the same.
Many others have helped me slowly come to terms with my sexuality.
The first woman I met on here after my marriage ended. Taught me how to let go of my past and just enjoy lust and passion for what it is. Also pointed out how shallow I've been at points.
I've a lot to be thankful for.

An interesting question, I think overall the biggest impact sexually comes from my longstanding friend (non fabs ) in my compartmentalised world who taught me that’s it’s not wrong to like sex and opened my eyes to possibilities that tbh I didn’t know even existed.

Lots of people I have met over the years have contributed something.
In a Fab context it's probably not the person who introduced me to Fab and clubs and all of this but that introduction led me to some lovely men who have become my friends, even if we no longer or rarely have sex.
His introduction also led to meeting a woman who introduced me to a man who made NSA truly work for me. He was generous and thoughtful and I miss our regular visits to clubs since he met his partner. I'm glad he remains a friend.

My husband was my first.. my last... but luckily there have been a *cough few in between.
My husband and I have always been open and honest about what we want and don't want and experiment often.
