Don't get much further south than the isle of Wight, level 42 land, but I'd rather be associated with North of the Watford gap when it comes to UK music.

The Cure are from deepest darkest Sussex. You can't get more darker than Crawley.

A lot of musicians may well head to London but that's down to how the industry is or was..

Lots of great music from all parts of these islands..

Most number one singles from musicians born or based in Liverpool I believe..
