I've just gone into the garden and theres a Pigeon that cant fly for some reason . I feel really sorry for it and dont know what to do ?? Do I have to call RSPCA or just leave it . I cant just leave it to die I love animals too much and it looks so scared  |

Try keep it safe for a bit. Best place if you can is a suitable sized box and keep it in the dark and in a quiet place to rest for a few hours. It may be just stunned. If it’s visible unable to flap its wings and sort of drags one or both it’s possible it’s broken. In that case see if it is ringed. If it is ring the pidgeon club and they will locate someone close by. The other option is the vet and that will cost you I’m afraid

I put one in a box and rang the RSPCA they came and collected it |

It's cruel to leave an animal suffering
I'd put it somewhere quiet in a box Witt a blanket to see it it comes around after a while
If not I'd kill it quick
Personally I'd find it hard to do but I know it's the right thing so I'd do it |

Update--
RSPCA didnt come get it , but they've assured me they will be here this afternoon . Percy is still with me hopping around and in good spirits despite being flightless . Hes even eaten a few berries  |
