I think if you are gonna do a long distance it's needs to be for a weekend to be worth it. That involves lots of chatting leading up.... Well that's how I would want to progress |

"4 hours on a train... for technically a social... we're still in touch 8 years down the line.
Brilliant weekend "
Long journey for a social.
Sounds like it worked out though! |

"Depends on the person I was travelling to meet. "
Likewise agree with with. As long as I know that they are gen I'll make the effort and travel no problem. I've met some great people.Travelled 130 miles round trip in think was the furthest.. |

I've travelled around 500 miles round trip up to my very special lady friends house, with another 200 mile around trip over one of the long weekends we spend together, when we went and joined up with a bunch of awesome fab friends at a lounge social |

About seventy miles or an hour and a half on the train for a social. Technically I didn't travel specifically for it, it just happened while I was at my particular destination. |

Over 500 round trip. Not of here, but an internet penpal of sorts of a vanilla forum. To be fair went up for the weekend and although there was clearly a mutral desire for sex it was also friendship. We are still very close freinds today but she is now married and vanilla in her tastes. This is fine because it's her friendship that I love and value, the sex was just an extra dimention to our friendship when she was single. It was so nice that we got to share that personal intimacy as friends without out complication. So yes definitely worth it and still worth it today without the sex. |

I drove from Buckinghamshire to Manchester to go to a club with a fab 'friend' one Saturday night, then back home again the next day. About 380 miles in all I think. Yes, it was worth it. |

the gym and random places |
For one off ... well they start off as one off but sometimes end up regular
600 miles is my largest I think to date.
For the right person there isn't really a no I wouldn't travel that.
Happy to do a cpl hours each way.
My best mates 130 miles away and i travel hundreds of miles each week so guess it's very subjective |

Used to travel 280 miles round trip regularly for ex fwb and took around 3 hours each way.
Now I have a much easier 90 mile round trip, a hour each way for the current hotty at least once a week |
