I was reading an article a few days ago talking about vegan "burgers" that had massive amounts of fats and other rubbish in them to get them as close to burgers as possible but without the meat.
I have no issues with people wanting a plant based diet, but if they want veg then celebrate it. I love veggies and have several veggie cookbooks just for more ideas on how to cook them. But I think it's a bit ridiculous to then demand plant substitutes for meat dishes.
Is this down to its rising popularity and people not fully immersing themselves in the philosophy of it?
Vegans who only do the food bit are dicks though, don't claim veganism while wearing leather good.. |
