Boil it till it floats then scoop all out except the skin. Mix in a bowl with loads of malt vinegar a huge dollop of English mustard and some fried challots. Place onto crusty bread toast under grill with some gratings of mature English cheddar. Encona hot chilli sauce is optional. |

"Hmm, yum. Pig's blood, pig fat and oats all stuffed into a stretched pig's intestine. What's not to like?"
Clonakilty Black pudding is made with Beef & Beef Blood .
Stuff is Delicious & i have to say tastier than most but not all pig blood variations.
Well worth a try. |

"Just had black pudding and haggis for breakfast....mmmn"
Love Haggis at breakfast. Every new years morning my mum would fry up the left over haggis from new years eve and serve it (all slightly crispend) with breakfast. Even when I was older no mater what party I'd been to I'd make sure I got back home for new years day breakfast and refried haggis. Start the year like a champion.
(Also she'd make bubble and squeak from the left over veg) |
