Have they become an epidemic ?

Watching football on TV , with guys with tattoos down legs ,and all round upper necks..

Why ? Most of these guys are very handsome lads with great physiques....

Suppose I m just old fashioned and not fashioned....

Opinions.....

I agree I don’t mind the odd one but whole limbs covered I find a real turn off. Each to their own I know it’s fashionable. Agree I’m probably old fashioned too!

Love tattoos on a guy!

Chatting to a gorgeous guy who is covered on his neck and arms.

Looking forward to taking a closer look.

We both have a dog, so first meet is literally a doggy social lol.

I don't see why people are bothered if another person has ink or not.. it has no affect on anyone but the person wearing it.

This. I'm sometimes told I need tattoos, too. No. Your body, your choice, my body, my choice.

I'm often told I'd look better without.. it has no bearing on anyone so just don't get people's need to comment! Strange world..

Indeed. I have my own aesthetic preferences, but it's not like "I prefer the red lipstick"... It's a bit harder to change! And I wouldn't offer makeup/clothing advice unsolicited either.

Is it your body? Then your view on whether they're too much is irrelevant (I have no tattoos and want no tattoos).

If you're looking at someone with a view to attraction you can't help but like or dislike things about them as an individual.. that's natural. What confuses me are blanket comments on appearances that are not linked to that persons life.. especially when it's like off the tv when it's not even an in person meeting.. just a body on a screen..

What's too much though?! I'm extensively tattooed but very few people ever see my full work.

Oh sure. But for attraction purposes, it's not worth saying anything, I don't think. Not for me, best of luck, happy Fabbing and all that.

Definitely worse when you have no stakes in it whatsoever. I have my views on tattoos, I generally keep them to myself, because it's not my business.

It is what it is.. we are brought up to be ourselves and embrace our individuality.. yet there will always be someone who chooses to point and pass judgement. No skin whatsoever

I still have people in my life who think I've mutilated my body. I have one piercing in each ear. In the centre of my earlobe. Radical! Such sick mutilation, man!

Ha ha my dad saw my full backpiece on my sisters wedding day when I walked past him as her bridesmaid.. I got a firm pat on the shoulder from him.. he was even less impressed with the nose ring.. people don't even notice anymore.

They are certainly more popular than a few years ago. Possibly a fashion thing. Possibly just the accessibility of tattoo shops not just being on dingy back streets.

Because you can never cover a tattoo with another one, or get it removed, once it’s there? Wait, yes you can!

If you get pissed on a regular basis you could have ' This way up ' tattooed on your forehead.

You could achieve the same result with a permanent marker, should you do wish.

You're welcome.

I really like tattoos on other people. I think they look very very sexy. When you're old with tattoos I think they make you look really interesting. I have a big tattoo myself and I get lots of good feedback. But each to their own. If you don't like them that's fine. As long as your not rude to anyone who has them.

Most high profile celebs and sports stars have woeful tattoos, it is obviously not a money issue, and I'm sure some of the best artists would love to show case their talent, I put it down to their impatience. They are probably told "Yes, right away" everytime they ask for something but when the tatto artist says I cant fit you in right now, they say fuck it, I'm off to yerman on on the corner here and he can do it for me right now.
