So we have Hot Foxes, Stage, Unicorns, Bulls..
What label animal do I get, mythical or otherwise, I so want to be mythical 
What animal label do you feel you fall into and enjoy wearing? Feel free to make one up, for you or me? You have to justify yourvreasoning if you go down that route. |

I just don't get the whole unicorn label for single bi ladies.
I've been on fab for about 5 years and in all my time I've only met one lady who wasn't bisexual out of god knows how many!
I mean you can't move on fab without tripping over a single bisexual lady! |

That's a good point actually, the overwhelming majority of ladies on Fab are bisexual? I think single straight ladies are rarer as it happens?
And I'll take Centaur mind...The only other creature I identified with on a former profile was an Incubus strangely enough?

Okay, so this an early morning, slightly rambling, stream of consciousness but there's logic of sorts to be found within.
I think the term unicorn was adopted from the wider community. In the population as a whole, a single bisexual woman willing/wanting to meet couples is really rare.
So why not straight women instead of bisexual? Well much like the unicorn was prized and desired for its horn and lots of people wantes it, more people want the bisexual woman so that pushes the value of said woman up?
It's a slightly outdated term I'd agree.

I am a unicorn but not in the fab sense. I have bright coloured hair. Unicorns all over my house; shower curtain, pillows, duvet covers ect. But in the fab sense I'm not looking for men. Only women. So heaven knows what my "label" is on here. But unicorns are life. |
