What in your opinion is the best song intro? I've got loads but I'll kick it off with The Doors Riders in the storm. The sound of rain and thunder, then the bass, the drums and cymbals and then the keyboard tinkling in through the beat. Awesome!!!
Throw them in even if the song is crap but the intro is great. |

"Scarlett Nights - Prefab Sprout
Don't hear many folk talking about Prefab Sprout these days. I did love them.
Jump Around - House of Pain. "
When Rod Stewart was on the Ken Bruce tracks of my year’s a month or so back, he played a Prefab Sprout song. Can’t remember which one but went on to say he’s a huge fan and a friend of Paddy Macaloon ? Spelling? |

"Paradise by the dashboard light meat loaf
And bat out of hell "
Yup. Has to be Bat Out of Hell. Heck, the intro to Bat Out of Hell is better than most entire songs!
Stone Roses - This Is the One
Big Audio Dynamite - Medicine Show
MGMT - Time to Pretend
Naked and Famous - Young Blood
Best first note of a song?
Prince - I Would Die 4 U
