Thee highlight of the 9 to 5er's week, surely? It's like you're shooting work up the arse with a high dose tranquiliser gun with one hand whilst swashbucklingly unfurling the blinds to the dawning weekend with the other.
There's no better time, no better pub atmosphere than a good old British pub at 5pm on a Friday. The workers are unwinding and (Wetherspoons aside) the pissheads haven't surfaced yet. The world is in harmony and the dishwasher tablets? Pah! They can wait until tomorrow.
